Cookie policy

This page lists every cookie and every other item that secaudit.eu and our panel at app.secaudit.eu may store in your browser, and why. For everything else about your data, see the privacy policy.
The short answer
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and our pages load no scripts from other companies unless you click something that needs them (a YouTube video). A Buy button on the pricing page takes you to our payment partner's checkout page.
What we store is strictly necessary for something you asked for: staying signed in to the panel, and the language you chose there. EU law (Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive) allows this without asking for consent first. That is why there is no cookie banner.
There is one cookie that is not strictly necessary: the partner cookie sa_ref. We set it only if you agree to it on the pricing page itself (see below).

The sa_agency cookie is sent only to the panel's own address, cannot be read by scripts (HttpOnly), is sent only over HTTPS (Secure), and is protected against use by other websites (SameSite). Signing out deletes it.
The pages of secaudit.eu themselves set no cookies and store nothing in your browser. The only exception is sa_ref, and only after you agree.
Cloudflare
secaudit.eu and app.secaudit.eu are delivered through Cloudflare, which protects them against attacks and overload. To tell people from bots, Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies of its own, for example __cf_bm (bot management, 30 minutes) or cf_clearance (after you pass a security check). They are not used for tracking or advertising. Cloudflare lists its cookies at developers.cloudflare.com.
Content from other companies, only if you click
- YouTube videos. Some guides contain a video. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. Then the video plays from youtube-nocookie.com, and YouTube (Google) may store data in your browser under its own rules.
- Checkout of our payment partner. When the online checkout is open and you click a Buy button on the pricing page, your browser goes to the checkout page of our payment partner, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Its name is shown at checkout and on your receipt. It may store data in your browser for the checkout under its own rules. The pricing page itself loads nothing from it. See "Paid plans" in the privacy policy.
How to delete them
You can delete cookies and stored site data at any time in your browser. In most browsers, click the icon next to the address bar (a padlock or settings icon) on secaudit.eu or app.secaudit.eu and choose to delete the cookies and site data, or open the browser's privacy settings and delete the data for secaudit.eu. Deleting sa_agency signs you out of the panel. You can also delete sa_ref with "Forget the partner link" on the pricing page.
You can also block cookies in your browser settings. If you do, signing in to the panel will not work.
Changes
If this changes, we ask for consent before setting anything that needs it, and update this page and the date at the top.
